Mehreen Syed, one of Pakistan’s top supermodels who has, in the past, set fashion runways ablaze with her show stopping poise and confidence, has officially been announced as the new spokesperson, model and media personality for L’Oreal Paris Pakistan, according to a press release.

As an entrepreneur, Syed has most recently launched the International Fashion Academy Pakistan (IFAP) where she combines her expertise in fashion with her business acumen in order to contribute positively to institutionalising and organising the fashion industry. The institute hopes to offer essential skill development mechanisms through certified diplomas with a series of in-depth courses, such as Runway Coaching, Photo Shoot Direction, Health & Wellness, Acting Essentials, Hair & Skin Care, Spirituality and Speech Enhancement. Indeed, through IFAP, Syed has sought to establish a platform that allows the next generation of fashion industry professionals, specifically stylists, models, make-up artists and photographers, to study their field in a professional environment, equipping aspiring specialists with the technical know-how.

Meanwhile, as a model, Syed has achieved numerous accolades which include the ‘International Model of the Year’ award in 2005, ‘Face of the Year’ award in 2007, ‘Glamorous Entrepreneur’ award among others.

L’Oréal Paris, one of the leading beauty brands of the world, has always had influential personalities from the world of arts, fashion and beauty — for instance Penelope Cruz, Aishwarya Rai, Eva Longoria, Beyonce Knowles, Jane Fonda and Patrick Dempsey — to represent the brand.
