Golf: Marina claims TCF women’s title

KARACHI: Marina Khan clinched The Citizens Foundation Golf Tournament women’s title at the Karachi Golf Club. Khan and Japan’s Yutaka Arae were tied for the lead after nine holes in the first round, but Khan’s score of the 31 at the second-round’s conclusion was enough to secure the win. Meanwhile, Commodore Zafar Mehmood secured the seniors title with 41 points, while Wing Commander Naseem Baig finished second. In other action, Muntazir Rizvi won the veterans event with 19 points and Mubariz Ahmed took the junior’s title.
