Accident: Woman, daughter killed on road

ISLAMABAD: A woman and her infant daughter were killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle on Islamabad Highway on Thursday. Rashida Begum holding her infant daughter, was waiting at a bus stop near Judicial Colony when a passenger van hit them. Rashida and her one-and-half-year old daughter, Zeba, received multiple injuries. They were taken to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) in critical condition where they died before getting any medical aid. The driver of the van fled. Rashida along with other family members had come from Ratli villageto condole the death of a relative. The police registered a case and started investigation.
