Golf: Zubair,Chaudry on top after day one

LAHORE: Waleed Zubair and Aamir Chaudry took a shared lead in the amateurs’ competition on day one of the 28th Governor’s Cup Golf Tournament underway at Gymkhana Golf Club, Lahore. The duo posted scores of five-under par 67, with Mohsin Anwar and Asad Zia close at their heels after shooting rounds of five-under par 68. Meanwhile, the senior amateurs and ladies competitions of the tournament will commence today.
