Awami National Party leader Shahi Syed hit back at the MQM, after allegations were leveled against his party.

Awami National Party leader Shahi Syed hit back at the MQM, after allegations were leveled against his party on Saturday.

Syed stated that MQM is a terrorist outfit and that the peace of Karachi has been disrupted ever since its inception. He said that it seems as if people have been licensed to kill Pakthuns and bodies are returning to home towns on a daily basis.

Syed said that Pakhtuns believe in live and let live and that their patience should not be tested.

Khurram Hasan | 14 years ago | Reply There is need of identification and sorting of Afghani Pakhtuns living illegally OR with fake identities in this largest city on the globe for taking a forceful and final action against this (International Drug Mafia) which is certainly the biggest enemy of our country, slowly destroying it from almost 35 years from North to South. The Mehsud group in the North had been active NOT FOR THE RULE OF ISLAM but for the development of a situation where common Pathans of the North West see Pakistan Army as their enemy and a dilemma of Pakhtunistan can be created. That is why I call it two fold war strategy. At the same time ANP's plan is to maneuver this battle to the South in Karachi by destroying it's peace and harmony as Karachi would be the best location for the final battle against Pakistan as all the communities live there. Now that it can be converted into a battle ground to achieve their international agenda of breaking Pakistan into peaces. Now who can stop this to happen?. Their biggest fear is the political awareness and the social activism in the common citizens of Karachi. That is the reason of all the previous waves of target killings and recent incident of attacks. In the last wave of target killings, ANP terrorists tried so very hard to create a situation where a sectarian civil war could be started as they knew, it had been a nerve point of Karachi from ever but they did not know that Karachi is enough civilized and mature for a bloodshed of Muslims with the hands of Muslims in the name of JIHAD so the sectarian civil war plan failed and the credit goes to the political leadership of Karachi. As a result, the recent attack!!!

He, being a wise, thoughtful, responsible and mature leader, is supposed to realise that his hasty and provoking statement will further compound the problems. He must be watchful of his bitter tone. Given the tense situation, his anger is understandable, but he must not close all the doors and should be patient and remain focused on reconciliatory policy with MQM, which is also supposed to be cooperative and sensible to defuse the tense abd volatile situation to bring peace in Karachi. Bloodshed is no solution.

mussarat ahmedzeb swat | 14 years ago | Reply Mr shahi syed i disagree with you.I watched a programme on khyber tv a couple of months back in that programme all party workers were invited MQM,PPP and ANP all were blaming each other as usual BUT the most interesting part of the programme was that all these people of different parties were pathans.So the conclusion is that the pathans are the problem makers due to lack of awarnes .You should start working on educating them.
