Hockey: Hapless K-P stunned by WAPDA

LAHORE: Wapda hammered Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 37-0 to underline their dominance in the 27th National Women’s Hockey Championship. Amna Mir scored 12 goals while Ayesha notched up 11. Another one-sided fixture saw Punjab Colours brush aside Punjab Whites 20-0, with Iram firing in eight goals. Meanwhile, Railways got the better of Sindh Colours 15-0, Army defeated Balochistan 9-0 and Higher Education Commission edged out Sindh Whites 1-0 for a hard-fought win.
