Safe Return: Child recovered, kidnappers held

PESHAWAR: Police safely recovered a kidnapped child from Chamkani and arrested two kidnappers. Meanwhile, SP Kalam said 41 outlaws wanted for their involvement in various crimes, were arrested from Chamkani, Urmar, Daudzai, Khazana, Badaber, Mathani, Nasirbagh and adjoining areas and arms and ammunition were recovered from their custody. In addition to dismantling dens of alcohol and narcotics sellers, he said a three-member gang of dacoits was held at Chargo Kalley in a campaign launched on the directives of Capital City Police Officer Imtiaz Altaf. Five proclaimed offenders were also arrested. As many as nine pistols, 700 rounds of different bore, liquor bottles and hashish were seized.
