While speaking to the media outside Sukkur Central Jail, Soomro said that he had issued a notice to KESC Managing Director Tabish Gauhar through his legal adviser and said that it was an “unethical” act on the part of the power supply company.
He said that Gauhar would have to “bear serious consequences for the false accusations.”
The minister rebuffed the allegations and said that he had presented the bill in front of the media.
Soomro also also went on to say that he knew how the KESC MD had “come into power.”
Earlier, KESC had cut off the power supply to Soomro’s house due to non-payment of bills mounting for the fourth month.
According to the KESC spokesperson, the minister owed Rs368,000 to the power company.

We all know these shameless people but why we elect these dishonest people again and again.
Typical of our elected leaders. The entire country is their slave. They all live of the fat of the land while the masses starve,
This is democracy and we are thankful for the lawyers, media for lumbering us with it.
IS he claiming that this was an administrative error? I find that hard to believe. He just didn't want to pay. And when he got showed up as being a defaulter he resorted to foul language.
The sooner we get rid of these great "LEADERS" the better,
yes, you have paid your bills..but b.e.l.a.t.e.d.l.y...so KESC was right when it named & shamed you & also when it disconnected your power supply..
