Raid: Nine alleged terrorists arrested

ISLAMABAD: Security agencies and the police on Thursday arrested nine suspect terrorists belonging to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), as well as some foreigners. In a raid on a house in the Pandorian area of Shehzad town, officials from the Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested five suspected terrorists on a tip-off provided by intelligence agencies. The arrested suspects, police said, belonged to Kabul, Afghanistan and Swat. They were identified as Dilaram Khan, Hazrat Ali, Rasul Khan, Nadir Khan and Idrees Khan. No further details on the suspects were provided. Four suspect terrorists reportedly belonging to TTP from an area near Khana Pul were also arrested. Local police said they had no information on the arrests. The suspects were identified as Rahim Behram Khan, Ali Khan, Muzamil Khan and Ustad Jumani. The suspects were shifted to an unknown location for further investigations.
