Manslaughter: Guard arrested for ‘accidental’ killing
Police quoted the suspect, performing security duties at the bank, as saying that the incident happened by accident. He told the police that as he moved to open the main door for the woman to enter the bank his pistol slipped and fell.
He said the trigger got pulled when the weapon hit the ground and a bullet was fired which hit the woman, killing her on the spot.
