Big Brothers: Alumni association set up for MUET graduates

HYDERABAD:

Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) and the British Council have set up the British Alumni Association of Pakistan Education, Jamshoro to improve the educational standard of graduate engineers of the university.

The education chapter will also provide a platform to UK graduates who may want to do research in Pakistan.

Such centres are already working in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. According to a university spokesman, the inauguration ceremony will be held on December 10 at the main auditorium of MUET.
