Federal Cabinet approves 18th amendment bill

ISLAMABAD: Federal Cabinet has approved the draft of 18th amendment bill today in a step toward stable democracy.

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani who chaired the meeting at the parliament house in Islamabad congratulated the Constitutional reforms committee for getting all parties onboard over the 18th amendement bill.

Handing the draft, Chairman of the constitutional reforms committee Raza Rabbani briefed the cabinet session about the package.

Meanwhile, the Federal Minister for parliamentary affairs Babar Awan also apprised the cabinet about the legal aspects of the bill.

gh.mustafa | 14 years ago | Reply people are not interested in any thing else than the solution of their problems, which are electricity,dearness,health,education,good living conditions and law and order. 18th amendment would benefit only politicians but not people. this is my humble request to all the politicians(liers), plz save the state rather than destroying it.
