At least eight people, including two women, were killed and 18 others injured in a head-on collision between a passenger coach and truck in the Killi Habibzai area of Pishin on Monday.
According to official sources, a passenger coach was on its way from Qila Abdullah to Quetta when it collided with a Mazda truck. As a result of the accident, four people died on the spot, while 22 sustained injuries.
The casualties were taken to hospitals in Saranan and Pishin for treatment, where four succumbed to their injuries on arrival. Some of those who were critically injured were referred to Quetta.
