Catching up with technology: Information officers to be trained
Shazia Marri said that information officers will be trained to keep up with emerging technologies.
Sindh Minister for Information Shazia Marri said that information officers will be trained to keep up with emerging technologies and media. During a visit to the offices of Express Media Group, Marri said that information officers need to be equipped with the knowledge of different kinds of media so that they can discharge their duties diligently. She said that she was keen on improving the quality of information provided by the Sindh government so that the correct message and perception could be given to the media. Marri said that the website of Sindh information department will be upgraded. “I am a great believer in technology,” she told the executives, editors and reporters of the Express Media group.
