Load management: SNGPL directed to check gas theft

LAHORE: Standing Committee for Natural Resources Chairman Talib Hussain Nakai has directed the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) to check gas theft, monitor CNG stations and implement the load management plan. Talking to the media after presiding over a meeting at the SNGPL head office on Friday, he said certain CNG stations were involved in violating the load management plan and he himself had ordered closing 14 CNG stations in his area. Nakai said to stop CNG kits in big cars and bring CNG and diesel prices parallel, two sub committees had been set up which would submit a report within a month.
