The police claimed to have arrested two suspected militants and 26 proclaimed offenders from the district in November. According to District Police Officer Saleem Marwat, the police have seized 24 kilograms of hashish, 135 grams of opium, nine AK-47s, six rifles, 15 shotguns, 31 pistols, 5,803 rounds and 14 sleepers of wood during several operations against outlaws, timber mafia and narcotics dealers in the last month.
