Shot: Mahar men killed in dispute

SUKKUR: Two brothers were killed on Wednesday over a ten-year-old dispute between two factions of the Mahar tribe. Janib Mahar and his brother, Shafi Muhammad, were travelling to Sukkur when they were intercepted by armed men near Napar village and shot dead. The police sent the bodies to a nearby hospital for an autopsy but no case has been registered yet. Though the exact reason for the rivalry is unclear, it has led to 13 deaths so far.
