Sapna Khan Case: ‘No FIR because Khosa lives in Defence’

Police did not register an FIR against Dost Mohammad Khosa because his house does not fall within their jurisdiction.

Racecourse police did not register an FIR against Dost Mohammad Khosa because his house does not fall within their jurisdiction, a court was told on Wednesday.


The explanation was offered by the Racecourse station house officer (SHO) to who had been summoned by an additional district and sessions judge to tell the court why no FIR had been registered against Khosa. The SHO said that Khosa’s residence was situated in Defence.Khosa, a former chief minister, is accused of kidnapping and killing his wife Sapna Khan.

Sapna’s father, Misal Khan, alleges that his daughter disappeared after she went to see Khosa at his house.

In his application, Misal Khan had stated that Khosa had asked Sapna to visit him at his residence, 12-B Ackmen Road GOR-1.

The judge fixed December 7 as the date for hearing of arguments.
