Cricket: PCB meeting tackles 14-point agenda

The subject of coach selection was not included, said COO Subhan Ahmad.

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) governing body meeting, taking place after a delay of two months, covered a 14-point agenda in the gruelling nine-hour session yesterday. According to the PCB Chief Operating Officer (COO) Subhan Ahmad, the subject of coach selection was not included but the committee deliberated on the need to secure a home series against Bangladesh before supporting them for the vice-presidency of the International Cricket Council (ICC). In addition, the development of cricket academies and stadiums and the appointment of Brigadier Sajid as Director of Coordination were also discussed. Officials inside the PCB hinted that names of a new COO were also brought up, along with elections for constituent committees under ICC guidelines.
