Remedy: ‘Use latest technology to save energy’

Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi says energy-efficient appliances can prevent unnecessary use of energy.

ISLAMABAD:

Manufacturers should use latest techniques and quality raw material to save energy, stated Intellectual Property Organisation- Pakistan Chairman Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi.

While talking to a delegation of traders related to electrical appliances, who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said energy-efficient appliances can prevent unnecessary use of energy.

He underlined the need of responsible fuel consumption in the country, the lack of which has created numerous difficulties for different sectors. A permanent solution to the energy crunch is needed  to meet the demands of industrial as well domestic consumers, he said.
