SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has taken notice of alleged misbehavior by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) officials and ordered a probe into the matter. The federal minister took notice following the cable TV network operators’ strike, after certain officials kept the cable TV transmission suspended in the district in protest against Pemra officials. Cable TV operators wore the black arm bands and held separate condemnation meetings after a group of Pemra officials allegedly misbehaved with cable operators in the Sialkot sub office on Friday.
