Faisalabad: Power company to upgrade stations

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) has planned to expand and upgrade 12 grid stations by installing new power transformers by June next year. A Fesco spokesperson said on Friday that the company had already started a grid upgrading project with the help of $5 million from its own resources and an Asian Development Bank loan of $23.4 million. The project would be completed by the end of December. After this, a new project for expanding and upgrading 12 grid stations will begin.
