MIRPUR: President of the Supreme Court Bar Association Advocate Sardar Yaseen Azad said on Thursday the need of strict observance of the principle of seniority in order to the judiciary system in the country. Talking to reporters at the Kashmir Press Club, Azad praised what he called the ‘exceptional support’ extended by the media to the legal fraternity in 2007 during the nation-wide movement for the end of a dictatorial rule in the country. Earlier, the visiting SCBA president also addressed the local legal fraternity at the District Bar Association auditorium. He said that they have no objection over the grant of MFN status to India, adding: “But the early peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue according to the wishes of the people of Jammu & Kashmir is imperative.”
