Forensic Science Agency: Peshawar to get state-of-the-art lab

PESHAWAR: The Forensic Science Agency (FSA) has decided to set up a state-of-the-art forensic science laboratory in Peshawar to provide an effective investigation and prosecution facility to the district police. A high-level meeting in this regard was held at the K-P Home Secretary office. Project director of the FSA, while briefing participants of the meeting, said like other parts of the country, the agency will setup a forensic science laboratory in Peshawar to boost the capacity of the police in investigation and prosecution fields. He further said that land has been acquired for the purpose and the construction of laboratory will be completed in 2013.
