Partridge Shooting Season: The game of birds begins
The season for partridge shooting in K-P will start from November 27 and continue till February 5.

The season for partridge shooting in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) will start from November 27 and continue till February 5. The entire province excluding districts of Hangu, Tank and Upper Dir, Kohistan and Bahrain and Matta subdivision of Swat district will remain open to the activity. According to a press release issued by the Wildlife Department, hunting will be permissible only on Sundays and gazetted holidays. Hunting in game reserves will require a special shooting permit to be issued by the K-P Wildlife chief conservator. The maximum bag limit shall not exceed eight birds of all partridge species per gun per day. Hunters will be fined for each bird shot in excess to the bag limit. Use of automatic weapons like repeater short gun for shooting is strictly prohibited.
