Football: PAF down Police in PPFL

KARACHI: PAF crushed Police 3-0 in their Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) encounter, while Navy held Afghan FC to a 1-1 draw. Irfan Ali scored for PAF in the 25th and 35th minute to give his team a 2-0 lead at half-time. Mansoor Khan then put the icing on the cake with another strike in the third minute of second-half injury time. PAF still need to register one more win to avoid relegation. In the other match of the day, Afghan FC went ahead early through Haji Ahmed Shah’s goal but Navy equalised with Jabbar Hussain’s goal in the 70th minute.
