Mosquito menace: More die from dengue fever

LAHORE: As many as 30 confirmed dengue patients have been reported in Punjab, 23 in Lahore, said a report released by the Health Department on Sunday. The total number of dengue patients in Punjab has risen to 21, 275 with 17, 454 belonging to Lahore. According to the report 186 patients are under treatment at various hospitals in Punjab. Out of them 157 patients are admitted in hospitals of Lahore. One death was reported in Lahore due to the virus during the last 24 hours. Thirty-two dengue patients were cured and discharged from the teaching hospitals and the district headquarters hospital of Lahore during the last 24 hours.
