Medical camp: PMA provides free medical care
Around 200 men and women in rural communities were provided free-of-cost diagnostic and treatment services.
SIALKOT:
A local NGO Baidaire and the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) conducted a free medical camp at the Roras-Sialkot village on Saturday. The camp was organised under the technical and professional supervision of PMA president Dr Munawar Javed Mian. Approximately 200 men and women living at the grass root level in rural communities were provided free-of-cost diagnostic and treatment services. The patients were treated for diabetes, hypertension, cardiac diseases and general health problems. Patients were also provided orientation regarding the causes and impact of such diseases. Lily Pharmaceutical Company provided logistical support and diagnostic facilities for the medical camp.
