In Sialkot Jail: 10 Bangladeshi prisoners languish

Ten citizens of Bangladesh are currently imprisoned for illegally crossing over the border into Pakistan.

SIALKOT: Ten citizens of Bangladesh are currently imprisoned in Sialkot District Jail for illegally crossing over the border into Pakistan.  Administrator of Bangladesh Embassy in Islamabad, Muhammad Islam, was briefed about these inmates by the jail officials on his visit to the city Friday. The envoy asserted that his visit to Sialkot District Jail was part of Bangladesh Embassy’s drive to collect a detailed data of the Bangladeshi citizens imprisoned in Pakistani jails. He was informed that four of the prisoners had already completed their imprisonment terms and would soon be released.
