Karate: Abbas heads squad for Delhi event

KARACHI: Asian Karate Championship gold medallist Saadi Abbas will lead the contingent composed of eight other athletes in the first South Asian Karate Championship due to begin in New Delhi from November 21. Apart from Abbas, the Pakistan Karate Federation also named Mohammad Ramzan, Imtiaz Ali, Baz Mohammad, Mohammad Kashif, Mohsin Hazara, Ali Mehmood, Khaliq Changezi and Mohammad Jawed to compete in the championship. The team leaves for New Delhi today.
