According to the Pakistan Squash Federation officials, expectations are high from the players after their rigorous one-month long training camp at Kalabagh near Murree. The federation spent more than Rs3 million on the construction of the high altitude court, the purpose of which was to replicate the conditions that the players will be facing in Ecuador.
“The players owe the individual junior championship trophy to the country,” legendary squash player Jansher Khan told The Express Tribune. “I won the juniors world championship in 1986 and now that these players are getting the best facilities, they should bring the honour back to the country after all this time and money spent on them,” added Khan.
