65% Pakistanis claim to be early birds

ISLAMABAD: Almost two thirds of all Pakistanis (65%) claim to like rising early in the morning and start an early day, revealed the result of a survey conducted by Gilani Research Foundation - Gallup Pakistan.

The survey said that those who rise early in the morning find it to be a pleasant experience. Only 4% find it disagreeable. However, 30% find rising early neither pleasant nor unpleasant and 1% gave no response.

In the survey, a nationally representative sample of men and women from across the country were asked the following question ‘Do you wake up early in the morning and start your day happily or do you find waking up unpleasant?’

The findings of the survey revealed that people living in rural areas (70%) are cheerful early risers as compared to their urban counterparts (57%).
