Best of both: Sindh Governor addresses naval staff

KARACHI: A new local body system will be introduced which will include the best of both 1989 and 2001 systems, according to Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan. He was addressing to the 41st staff course of Pakistan Navy at the Governor House. Ebad siad that the local government system is ideal in his eyes and Pakistan Peoples Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movemnet agree over some points while negotiating on some. According to him, there is no dispute among the communities living in Karachi do not have any differences which each other, except for some political, linguistic and sectarian problems. He said that weapons are smuggled in the city from outside and all stakeholders agree that search operations should continue against the criminals.
