Caught: Two suspected bank robbers arrested

Raids were being carried out to arrest their companions.

The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) claimed to have arrested two men for alleged involvement in bank robberies on Tuesday.


According to SIU officials, a raid was conducted after a tip-off in the limits of Jamshed Quarters police station.

Suleman, alias Makki, and Rizwan, alias Bhonda, were arrested after a brief encounter.

According to SSP Omar Khattab, the men allegedly killed Amjad Baloch after robbing him of Rs30,000 during a bank robbery.

They were also wanted in Mehmoodabad and Gulberg.

Raids were being carried out to arrest their companions.
