Ijaz Lohar: Govt given till Dec 8 to pay assistance

LHC gave Punjab government more time to pay the folk singer the Rs50,000 financial assistance promised by the CM.

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday gave the Punjab government more time to pay folk singer, Ijaz Lohar, the Rs50,000 financial assistance promised by the chief minister. A law officer appeared before the court on behalf of Finance deputy secretary and requested that the government be given more time. The court will resume the hearing on December 8.
