YouTube video of the day: Thumbs up for Yamla Pagla Deewana

KARACHI: Pop singer Nouman Javaid stole the show by pulling off various disguises in his newly released single "Yamla Pagla Deewana.

The video is colourful and gaudy, and the music is upbeat.

Javaid is seen impersonating a Sheikh, a jutt, a Sikh, a cowboy, a rock star, an American Indian and a boxer while dancing along with girls wearing masks of Meera Jee and Veena Malik.

The song is an adaptation of the famed Indian song, "Yamla Pagla Deewana," that starred Dharmendra Singh Deol.

Despite all the costumes, the video does not feel overdone and is pretty apt to the song.

Video rating: Thumbs up!
