How It Works: Conference on responsible science

KARACHI: A two-day international conference on “Responsible Conduct of Science” is being organised by the Dr AQ Khan Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering in collaboration with the International Council for Life Science on November 14 to 15. The event will highlight issues in the philosophy of science, influence of science on society, the role of the media in promoting an awareness of scientific values and achievements, bio-safety and bio-security, intellectual property rights and commercial applications of science.
