Technological Development: LUMHS offers new fellowship

The Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) has started offering clinical fellowships in the “Illizarov technique” at its department of orthopedic surgery and thaumatology. The first Illizarov surgery unit in the country was set up at the campus. This Russian method of bone regeneration to lengthen a limb is versatile, and helps patients with trauma, infections or tumors.
