A youth has stabbed and killed his father in Lundianwala police station precinct on Saturday.
According to police officials, Babar, a Rajay di Jhuggi resident was suspicious that his father Ishaq had developed illicit relations with Babar’s wife.
Neighbours told police officials that Babar quarrelled with his father a few days ago. “He kept yelling at him and accusing him. Ishaq hit him with a stick but they eventually dropped the matter,” said a servant at the house. On Saturday morning, Babar entered his father’s room and stabbed him with a kitchen knife while he was asleep.
Lundianwala police have registered a case under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against Babar and arrested him.
The police has also recovered murder weapon. “He confessed to the murder and said that his father was having an affair with his wife and deserved to die,” said police inspector Mubarak Hassan Shah. Police officials said that Babar’s wife had fled the scene. N eighbours said that she had left to stay with her parents.
Ishaq’s body has been sent to the DHQ hospital for an autopsy.

At the least it shows how the local mosque "mullas" have flopped in influencing people.
It reflects that we utilize the most improper potency of religious/socio-religious dosage.
