“CROs shall remain open on Saturday (November 12) during working hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and till late hours (8:00 pm) on working days of November 14, 29 and 30 to facilitate the corporate sector,” the SECP said.
Special facilitation desks had been established at the CROs to help the companies in timely filing of returns and accelerating the pace of corporate compliance in the country, it said.
Last date for filing Form 29 for most of the companies is November 14. Companies are also required to file annual returns on Forms A/B within 45 days in case of listed companies and 30 days in case of other companies, of holding of annual general meetings (AGMs). Annual audited accounts are also required to be filed within 30 days of holding of AGMs.
The SECP said returns and accounts would also be collected at the chambers of commerce and industry in Sialkot, Hyderabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Sheikhupura where its representatives would be present on due dates.
