Investment opportunities: ‘SCO membership to open new avenues’

ISLAMABAD: New avenues of investment would open for Pakistan after joining Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), said Federal Adviser on Textile Mirza Ikhtiar Baig said while talking to PTV. Baig further said that regional trade models are successful in the world because of tariff concessions, therefore SCO countries have a huge potential. He said Pakistan could enhance trade with SCO countries and could meet its energy shortfall. He said that SCO comprises those countries, which could meet our energy requirements.
