When celebs put themselves in harm’s way, it causes grave concern to their fans. But luckily, Twitter is a great way for fans to keep up with the latest news in the lives of their favourite celebrity.
Over the weekend, singer Kelly Osbourne was hospitalised at Mercy hospital in Miami after she suffered a head injury. Her mother Sharon revealed that Kelly’s accident happened when she was at a night club, where someone asked the former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant to show him how to ballroom dance. When her partner tried to dip her, she knocked her head on a DJ’s amplifiers, revealed thecelebritycafe.com. Sharon said that Kelly is now recovering from a concussion. “I cracked my head open then kept passing out. I have the all clear (and) my mum came to get me,” Kelly wrote on her Twitter page. “I just want to thank all the incredible doctors and nurses for taking such good care of me. You guys really are amazing!”
Meanwhile, singer Rihanna returned to the stage in Germany after being hospitalised earlier this week. The “Umbrella” hitmaker was forced to cancel two concerts in Sweden after she was admitted to hospital with influenza, reported contactmusic.com.
Doctors blamed Rihanna’s illness on exhaustion, but she was back in the spotlight when she resumed the European leg of her Loud tour in Hanover, Germany, on November 4. “I missed you guys. Got a little rest though. I hate cancelling shows.” she posted on Twitter.
