PTI to form anti-corruption cell, expose 'assets' of Sharifs, Zardari

Allama Iqbal's grandson, Waleed Iqbal officially joins PTI

LAHORE:
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan hit out at President Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif as he announced the formation of a cell that will disclose true assets of corrupt political parties including the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Addressing the media at the residence of Justice Javed Iqbal, Imran Khan said that the assets publically declared by PML-N were fake.

Khan reiterated that President Zardari and the Sharif brothers will never reveal their true assets as they would then be compelled to face charges of corruption on declaration.

The press conference was held to mark the induction of Allama Iqbal’s grandson, Waleed Iqbal into the PTI. Khan hailed the decision made by Iqbal to join the party.

Imran khan said he hoped to see new faces joining his party who were sincere and hardworking.

The PTI has recently seen a number of politicians join after splitting from their parent parties. These include members of PML-Q dissident groups.
