A jirga held in a village near Tangwani found four men from the Banglani tribe guilty of killing a policeman. They were asked to pay Rs1.4 million to resolve the conflict between two tribes. Syed Bashir Shah, Akram Solangi and Jehangir Banglani led the jirga in the Shehalyani village on Saturday night and decided that Haroon, Himmat Ali, Liaquat Ali and Dilbar should pay a fine to Ahmed Machi’s brother. They paid Rs200,000 immediately while the rest will be paid within two months. Last year, the men from the Banglani tribe shot Ahmed Mahi over an argument. A case was registered against them at the Tangwani police station.
