LANDIKOTAL: Smugglers have made capital gains in the Khyber Agency in run-up to Eidul Azha by smuggling goods in huge numbers through check posts in Torkham, Ghakhi, Ziarai Khyber, Paran Sam, Begyrai and Takhta Bag on the Khyber Pass. Khasadars, low-ranking officials in addition to Torkham NLC, Custom and Khyber Rifles personnel force drivers to pay bribes of Rs100 to 300 at Torkham, allege some drivers, adding that concerned authorities do not check this brazen misuse of power.
