Injured: Justice Fayyaz’s son attacked

Till this report was filed, police said the motive behind the incident was not clear.

ISLAMABAD: Unidentified men attacked and injured the son of Justice (R) Raja Fayyaz Ahmed near zero point, Islamabad on Saturday night. Dr Idrees Ahmed, himself a doctor at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), was intercepted by two young men on a motorbike near Khayaban Pul and was severely beaten up. The assailants managed to escape. Idrees was injured on his face and chest, but managed to drive to the nearby Pims hospital in his own car. Till this report was filed, police said the motive behind the incident was not clear.
