Road Accident: Two children run over in Cantt
Two children were killed and their mother hurt when they were run over by a car in North Cantt late.

Two children were killed and their mother hurt when they were run over by a car in North Cantt late on Friday night. Police said that Minahil, 3, her elder brother Abdur Rehman, and their mother Nasreen were hit by a car driven by Squadron Leader Mumtaz Begum as they were crossing Sarwar Road. Nasreen Bibi worked at a house in Cantt and was going to the market. The police said that Minahil died at the scene while Abdur Rehman and Nasreen were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital. Abdur Rehman passed away on Saturday while Nasreen was said to be in critical condition. Mumtaz was arrested from the crime scene and named as the accused in a first information report under Section 322 (manslaughter) of the Pakistan Penal Code at North Cantonment police station.
