UHS vice-chancellor Prof Dr Hussain Mubashir Malik said the university has set up 25 centres for the 32,000 registered candidates. He advised the candidates to reach their test centres no later than 8:15am, “No one will be allowed to enter the test centres after that,” he said.
He added that the candidates should also make sure that they display the ID cards issued by the university when they appear for the test. “We’ve arranged for strict security in the interest of the students and will require cooperation from them in this regard. No one will be allowed to take the test without the ID cards,” he said.
The provincial government is spending Rs50 million to organise the entrance test after it decided to waive the registration fee. Dr Malik said that the government will make sure that drinking water, first aid and an ambulance each were available at all centres.
The UHS has established three examination centres in Lahore at the UHS, the UET and the BISE examination centre on Lawrence Road.
