2007 Emergency Rule: SCBA to observe ‘Black Day’ today

ISLAMABAD: Lawyers across the country will observe November 3 (today) as a ‘Black Day’ in commemoration of their movement for the restoration of the judiciary in 2007, which was made dysfunctional after a state of emergency was declared.  The Supreme Court Bar Association has called upon all bars to hoist black flags, hold meetings and observe a day-long strike to denounce November 3, 2007.
