Kabaddi World Cup: Five Pakistanis still await Indian visa
Pakistan’s campaign at the Kabaddi World Cup in India will kickoff without three players and two officials owing to visa delays. According to the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) Secretary Muhammad Sarwar, a 13-man squad sans officials is in India for the event that started on Tuesday with Pakistan taking on the US in their opening match today.
“Although we will launch our campaign without any backup players, our team is stronger than the US so it’s not a worry for now,” Sarwar told The Express Tribune. “However, our next match is against Italy who beat India last year so we’re hopeful that we’ll have a full squad in three to four days.”
Meanwhile, Imtiaz Aslam has failed a drugs test and has been dropped from the squad for the event that features
14 teams.

What rubbish! India should grant them visa IMMEDIATELY!
Visa restrictions should not extend to Sportsmen, Artists and Highly skilled labour. In fact, India should even them permanent residence!
India needs to import talent to supplement all the talent it has at home.
